A Fun Carnival Couples Session at The Hudsonville Fair

Ahh! Bucket list shoot y’all! DONE! I’m so stinking excited about this one. On the way home from work yesterday, my husband mentioned to me that the Hudsonville Fair was happening, and that there was a carnival. I have wanted to do a carnival session for YEARS. YEARS Y’ALL. So I posted to my Instagram stories asking if anyone would be willing to come be my fabulous models today. I was really hoping it would happen, but I didn’t think it was possible with so little time to plan for it. Thankfully, a super sweet photographer friend of mine, Paloma, said her and her beau would be down. I was stoked - and if I’m being honest, a little nervous. I’ve got lots of experience with flash photography, but I’ve only started really diving into night time photo-shoots more recently. Well I’m so glad we went for it! It was everything I was hoping it could be. These two are so sweet, and they were willing to brave the large crowds with me to take some fun photos. I can’t thank them both enough! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
